Towards the end of 2017 the Decathlon Store in Thurrock underwent a major refit and at the time already incorporated a Swann Lighting scheme utilising our Asterius LED luminaire. The ground space was to be reduced but with the implementation of a mezzanine level meaning the currently installed lighting layout was to be reconfigured to meet the new store space. Extensive survey and design work was carried out to provide the client with a new lighting arrangement which would reuse existing Asterius fixtures where possible and include additional units, where required, to ensure the lighting brief was achieved. 

🡆 Asterius 110° wide beam was utilised throughout the majority of the sales to allow for a uniform distribution of light, 60° version utilised at high level of till area to achieve the 1000 lux required.

🡆 Back of house lighting in new office and cash room area include our Bios downlight and Demeter batten fixture. 

🡆Sales floor lighting fixtures incorporate wireless control system meaning fittings can be programmed remotely, receive timing schedules to aid in minimising energy usage and allow the client to monitor fittings independently.
